Terms on Booking

Making a reservation and payment

The person making the reservation must be at least 21 years old when making the reservation.

The person making the reservation provides their contact information to the owner of the holiday apartment: name, address, phone number, and email address. The person making the reservation agrees to fill out and send a guest information form to the owner of the holiday apartment before the start of the reservation if the owner requests it.

The customer must pay at least the reservation fee (20%) immediately after making the reservation and the final payment (80%) one month before the rental period. If the rental begins within less than a month, the entire rental amount must be paid at once. A separate invoice for the reservation and the final amount will be sent when the reservation is made

The reservation is confirmed when the customer has paid the reservation fee (20% of the vacation rental price).

If the customer does not make the payments on time, the owner can cancel the reservation without a separate notification.

Cancellations

Cancellations must be communicated via email to platinumlaponia@hotmail.com, and the cancellation will be considered effective upon receipt of the cancellation notice.

In the event of a cancellation, the reservation fee (20%) will not be refunded.

If the cancellation is made 30-7 days before the start of the rental period, 50% of the total rental fee will be refunded. Cancellations made within 6 days before the start of the reservation or during the reservation period will not be eligible for a refund.

If the holiday apartment is not taken over or is taken over late, no refund will be granted to the customer. In case of interruption of the reservation and the customer's departure from the holiday apartment before the end of the rental period, no compensation for the unused time will be provided, and the customer is not entitled to a refund.

Owner's Right to Cancel Reservation

In case of force majeure, the owner of the holiday apartment may cancel the reservation. In this case, the customer is entitled to a full refund of the amount paid.

If the customer fails to make payments on time, the reservation may be canceled without separate notice.

Access to the Holiday Apartment

The customer will receive arrival instructions and a personal PIN code for door access via email before their arrival date.

If the reservation needs to be terminated due to disruptive behavior by the customer, no refunds will be issued.

Stay at the Holiday Apartment

The holiday apartment is available to the customer from 4:00 PM on the arrival day until 10:00 AM on the departure day. Exceptions must be agreed upon when making the reservation. The owner reserves the right to refuse exceptions.

The rental includes the right to use the booked holiday apartment for the reserved period. Normal energy consumption, furniture, cooking and dining utensils, tableware, mattresses, blankets, and pillows are included in the price. Toilet paper and kitchen paper are not included in the rental price. Bed linens and towels are not included in the rental. Bed linens and towels can be provided for an additional fee, please order these when making the reservation.

Final cleaning is included in the price, but the guest folder contains instructions for final tasks such as taking out the trash, emptying the refrigerator, putting dirty dishes in the dishwasher, and moving furniture back to its place, so please read the accommodation folder instructions upon arrival. Failure to complete final tasks or severe untidiness may result in an additional cleaning fee of €160 charged by the owner.

The holiday apartment may only be used by the maximum number of people specified in the apartment description as the number of beds or as agreed upon when booking. The maximum number is 4 people.

Pets

Bringing pets to the holiday apartment is not allowed.

Damages

The customer is responsible for any damages caused to the apartment. Any damage must be reported immediately to the holiday apartment owner and/or caretaker. The customer is obligated to compensate for any damages caused to the holiday apartment owner. The holiday apartment and its contents are always inspected after the rental period.

Complaints

All complaints and grievances related to the holiday apartment must be addressed promptly upon their occurrence and directly to the holiday apartment owner during the reservation period.

These reservation terms are valid indefinitely.
